We are a family of 4 and stayed at the Riad with our 2 children, aged 21 &15. We where all blown away by its beautiful & tranquil ambience. We were at the end of a 6 week holiday in Europe and this was truely 'the icing on the cake'. The riad was conveniently located in the Medina, walking distance to everything. The rooms were beautifully decorated in Moroccan style and were very comfortable. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, organising guides, drivers, transportation from and to the airport and even a night camping in the Sahara! Also, the food was delicious! I am only sorry that I didn't get an opportunity to take lessons in Morrocan cuisine, which is also on offer.
Nothing everything was great!
A beautiful haven amidst the traditional hustle of Marrakesh. A newly refurbished small and friendly hotel. Relaxing and luxurious, full of Morroccan charm. We loved it.
The fact that I had to pay for the transfer from the airport while it was written that transports to the riad was for free
Peace, services and location
if you contract guide guy in hotel (or in other place) you have to take care in visit and if he recommend to buy in some shop, because he probably have commision
the ambience of calm and tranquillity
the silence and sound quality within the Riad can be almost inhibiting
cool riad in the medina :). Only few rooms there so its kinda hard to call it hotel.
This is typical moroccan but worth mentioning -> they are trying to get some money from you in every possible way. we were proposed to have a transfer - no price was indicaded; we agreed - and the price of transfer organized by riad was 150 dh (whereas you can get taxi easily for 30 dh). Also, they offered us dinner - we agreed (of course price was not indciated) - and when settling the bill we found out that dinner was worth 500 dh. Somehow funny becouse the 'dinner" was in fact some reheated stuff, prepared by Abdul (guy who acts there as "do it all man" - very nice but zero english knowledge). Overall - watch for those kind of "extra services" - ask the price first - otherwise they will try rob you for sure.
The location is excellent as it is close to everything and the area is still quiet. Our room was beautiful, with a sunken bath, very romantic.I would highly recommend this riad, as it is nicely priced, and you still have very good quality. We had dinner in the riad for two nights and it was very good.
staff friendliness from e.mail correspondence to visit and stay. this riad is a rose amoungst thorns. dont be put off by the rambling alley to get there. varied and tasty breakfasts.
nice but expensive eve meal.
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff went out of their way to help. Emailed and called me prior to our arrival. Arranged for very early morning transfer to the airport
No credit card facilities which is very inconvenient when arriving late and then having to find an ATM to settle the bill
The rooms were very nicely decorated, clean. Roofterrace with nice views over the Medina and possibilities to have breakfast outside in the sun. Very friendly and helpfull personnel
There was a little a strange smell in the room but having the door / window opened for some time solved that. A pity that the toilet was not in a separate location but just in the room, without possibility to close. Finally we got the impression that the last day we did not get any clean towels.Furthermore the way to the Riad was a little strange and awkward with narrow roads but this just is the way of getting to the Riad and although quite dark at night we never felt unsafe there.
the staff very nice, the architecture of the riad, the light and earing the birds singing every morning
The staf is very gentle...
There were two things: 1) the toilette of my room doesn´t have door and 2) it was a little cold.
very relaxing stay the room was lovely and clean and the staff were excellent
A very nice designed riad in the middle of the medina, 10 min from Jemaa El Fnaa. Lovely rooftop, great breakfast, maybe the prices dinner are a bit overpriced but then at least you do not have to walk trough the dark alleys. Friendly staff and manager Ms Auotif, certainly worthwhile to return some day!
We booked the Royaume de Siam which was downstairs 10 cm from where the dining tables are. So everybody could here you talk in your room.
Everything was perfect, from the hotel pickup to the delicious meals.
